What can the study and interpretation of the diaries of a largely unknown group of sources \u2013 diaries written by women and men deported from Hungary to concentration and forced labor camps in 1944-1945 \u2013 add to findings about historical works on the history of the camps and the personal sources during the Holocaust?<\/p>\n
This website publishes, in Hungarian and English, the history of the deportation of the diarists, a list of the camp diaries, a short description of them, and a virtual exhibition of women's diaries written in S\u00f6mmerda, a subcamp of Buchenwald.<\/p>\n
